No More Online Job For Me

Claiming my independence was really tough. Well, I’m pretty sure a lot of you would agree, it’s like starting to learn to crawl. Though I was able to get a fine job, it seems like the pay was not satisfying my basic needs. I might not have tightened my belt pretty well to make both ends meet, and I need to find a way out from this dilemma real fast.

Online jobs is selling like pan cakes and the pay was really good. Enticing for someone like me who’s stuck in a bad financial system. I started browsing for an opening at http://www.onlinejobs.ph and was lucky to find an employer.

It really went out well and the pay was really good. To start off I was earning about $175 on the first month to complete 50 blog comments per day and submit a report in an Excel document. On the second month, my employer was paying me $200 with an additional task to complete email confirmation. The third month was fabulous, aside from the monthly pay, I was given an extra. At the same time, I’m juggling this with my job as a Mototrbo radio specialist. It was really fun and time management was a must.

It was short lived though, after enjoying the extra income for three months, my online job employer decided to stop the project for some time. I was thinking I’m back to my dilemma but I was wrong. Things are a lot better now and I was able to adjust to the kind of life I have now. I guess I’ve mastered the “crawling” part and I’m ready to start a new lesson.

District 9 part 2?!

Hold your horses, there’s no part 2 yet. I was just finish watching District 9 with my girlfriend and I can’t get over few thoughts.

First, the alien who escaped and promised to come back to Earth after 3 year, would that mean the second part of the movie is due on 2013? “I was just wondering…”

Second, the pickup truck used by the MNU looks robust and pretty tough. It’s like a combination of the Toyota Hilux and Nissan Navara. I wish I can have one. “What? I was just wishing…”

Third, how in the world did the “Prawns” have such advancement in technology with the way they live? And they should be more decent and prim with the knowledge and tech they have not scavengers. “Well, I just don’t get it…”

Can’t wait what will happen next.

The Underpaid Licensed Electronics Engineer

I just got my pay check but looking at the figures makes me wonder if I’ll be happy or sad. No matter what, it’s still a blessing. It’s the fruit of my own blood and sweat.

Working as a Cadet Engineer, I handle both IP CCTV’s and the MotoTrbo radio support specialist. Though the pay is just in range for the minimum bracket, it’s a good experience if I really want to go abroad for a greener pasture. But for now, it’s not my priority yet. I’m aiming to become a millionaire at the age of 35 by just staying here in the country. And I know this is quite ambitious of me, but it’s possible if you really come to think of it. This may not be expected by saving alone, as what my mentor said, “You need to invest".

Investing is the only possible way to climb the ladder of success and be part of Forbes list. That’s what I’m thinking right now and that means saving at least 25000php to be able to trade in the Philippine Stock Exchange(PSE). Another thing, I'm in trouble picking the right stock since I'm no analyst. I just hope 20 years from now my favorite pick will grew not just by 100% but 2000%.

Well, so much of my salary and long term goals in life. I just hope my boss would see and appreciate all my work and increase the pay. I almost forgot today is payday so it’s “pamper-myself-day”. I need to take a break, eat well and get some rest.

Anyways, I gained weight for the last 3 months and this is awful news for me. Since I’ve been back with the blogging business please continue to read my posts. Thank you!

Sony - Handycam DVD Camcorder Model: DCR-DVD610

A digital camera recorder that captures realistic videos and images that automatically stores in your dvd disc

This camera works really great for capturing all kinds of memories. The software is relatively easy to use, and the videos are very clear and good in quality. Optical Zoom is at 40x, which is most important, since digital zoom tends to distort the picture some. For most of us, 40x is plenty. This camera is easy to use and easy to make the movies straight-to-DVD. Just record, finish the disc, and pop it in your DVD player.
It's tuff and the video quality is great though the regular camera is only 1.3 MP. I highly recommend.

Logitech - QuickCam

Looking for a good web cam, here you go. Thats about all it is, basic.

Pros: Excellent picture and good sounding audio
Cons: Gets blurry when on Yahoo Messenger when you move around too fast, but i think it's the software on yahoo which lags a bit.

The privacy shutter is a nice feature and it is easy to set up and use. Bad points would be that the wrong software comes with it so you have to go to Logitech's site to get cam programs. You would be much happier for this camera for the money. It is a great camera for the price at only $54.00. The camera itself is pretty much plug and play. Good news to mac users because this webcam works well with iMac computers. If you are looking for a great web cam with nice features and at a good price , I highly recommend this one.

Velocity Micro - ProMagix Desktop

This isnt just a gaming desktop, but for me it's an all in one like for photo and music editing and it serves as an entertainment at home.

This computer is simply astounding. It is blazingly super fast and thus leaves the others in the dust. It has a built in gaming audio card, isn't that sweet?. I prefer it doesnt much need for upgrading because i think it'll last for about a couple of years. Compared to my dream pcthis is the kind of desktop that will surely have a rating of 10 out of 10 and deserves a standing ovation for everyone. Take a look at the specs:

* Intel® Core™2 Quad processor QX9650 with 4 processing cores, 1333MHz frontside bus, 12MB L2 cache and 3.0GHz processor speed per core

* 4GB DDR2 memory for multitasking power, expandable to 8GB

* LiteOn high-definition Blu-ray Disc drive; DVD±RW/CD-RW drive with double-layer support records up to 8.5GB of data or 4 hours of video using compatible DVD+R DL media; also supports LightScribe direct-disc labels using compatible LightScribe media

*Dual SLI-compatible NVIDIA EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX graphics cards with 1GB (512MB x 2) dedicated video memory; dual DVI interfaces; 2 S-video outputs

Toshiba - Satellite X205-SLi5

My dad is always a fan of toshiba laptops. In fact, we own two of them satellites. I've searched the net and this new toshiba satellite laptop is way too cool.
toshiba satellite x205

This is a great computer and you can't beat the price with what you get with this laptop, plus running old programs with Vista OS is no sweat. With the NVIDIA SLI Dual Geforce 8600 GT runs your games smoothly and gives your graphics a fine-looking art. The finger print scanner is neat to show off to friends and have fun with its voice recognition software. The Bluetooth capability opens up a lot of options as well like transferring files from your phone and vice versa. If you keep finding yourself like I did, in the situation of your old laptop not being able to keep up with the new software, then you need to look into this laptop. It is a little thick about 2.1 inches
since Toshiba laptops doesn't go for looks but for what they pack inside like the Intel® Core™2 Duo mobile processor T8300, Intel® Wireless Wi-Fi Link 4965AGN, 3GB PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM memory for multitasking power, 800MHz frontside bus, 3MB L2 cache and 2.4GHz processor speed, Multiformat DVD±RW/CD-RW drive, 320GB Serial ATA hard drive capacity, 5-in-1 bridge media adapter, and a lot more.

Bose - Acoustimass® 16 Series II

This will be a good pair for my last post of sony bravia.

You’ll absolutely fell in love with these speakers. These things absolutely pack a huge sound in a small package, and they look incredible as well. The only thing is the center sub seems flawlessly matched with the satellites, but at the same time it does overwhelm the smaller speakers.

The environment fashioned by this setup as part of a home theater structure is astonishing. Obviously its way cooler when watching an action or war movie to hear the sounds of the battle raging all around you, but what really gives me chills is the things you pick up during a quiet scene. A dog barking in the distance that sounds like its coming from outside your house. A twig snapping to the left. Subtle breathing from behind. That's what really makes this setup shine, it performs equally well putting you in the center of a raging battle as it does having you hiding in the jungle listening for the sound of footsteps.

Buy it, you will not be regretful with this system!

Blackberry bold 9000

An iPhone killer? Are they joking. Please...

BlackBerries are business phones intended for corporate integration and their design is optimized in that viewpoint. Even though there are similarities in the design of both phones (they don't look alike anyways...) I would still not see any copyright infringement.

You can type much faster on it with the qwerty keyboard than with the iphone which takes a long time to type a sentence. But it doesn’t have the visual voicemail that the iPhone does but I am pretty sure Blackberry can get this done on their phones.

RIM's latest embodiment looks pretty much just as you'd expect from the ever-reliable Blackberry and comes equally fulsomely featured with tri-band HSDPA, integrated GPS with geotagging, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and plenty of multimedia marvellousness shown off by the flashy 480x320 LCD display.

Here are some of the specs:
• 624MHz processor, 480×320 screen, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, etc. (definitely faster than the iphone)
• The web browser flies. "Loads web pages in 3-4 seconds." (wow)
• The BlackBerry 9000 in its current state runs OS 4.5
• The battery lasts around 4 hours with straight phone calling. (Battery sucks, to be honest, because when wifi is on it sips a lot of battery)
• 1 gb of internal memory (what the?)

Canon - PIXMA Pro9500

Great photos deserve to be admired -- and not as tiny snapshots

My parents usually buy canon products and I was hoping a loyalty award for it(just kidding). Last year, we bought the Canon iP3500 series and this is second Canon printer that I’m eyeing on the internet. Canon printers produce colors that are true to life. I used to think my Canon iP3500 produced great pictures but this beats the output of that printer hands down. I know this looks expensive but you get your moneys worth with this printer. If ever I’m going to purchase this one, I’ll use it for prints that I want to hang on the wall. Canon ink cartridges are small, but seem to go a long way. Large borderless prints are only possible with Canons paper, which is a downside, but minor since Canon makes good papers. Be careful which paper you buy. Some don't work with pigment inks. You might want to take a look at the specs:

• Prints up to 4800 x 2400 dpi in black, 4800 x 2400 dpi in color
• Creates a borderless 4" x 6" photo in as little as 75 seconds*
• 10-color pigment ink system creates accurate color reproduction
• From our expanded online assortment; not available in all Best Buy stores
• Prints a variety of borderless sizes, up to 8" x 10"
• 3-picoliter color ink droplets and precision ink nozzles produce sharp, fine details
• Camera direct printing of contact sheets; supports fine papers up to 13" x 19"
• High-speed USB 2.0 interface; Windows and Mac compatible
• Photo imaging software for Windows and Mac, including Easy-PhotoPrint, Easy-LayoutPrint (Windows only included)
• *Note: Print speeds vary with use. See mfg. for info on print speeds.

Sony - BRAVIA XBR 70"

sony bravia xbr
I was roaming around websites when i saw this huge flat-panel lcd tv.

I couldn't imagine this enormously 70" would fit into our small living room. However, it would take many many years for my parents to afford this kind of thing. We all know that bigger is always better and very much good in gaming. But some would say we'll watch blu-ray instead of standard dvd's because if you arent you are wasting a beautiful thing!! There is nothing wrong with this TV at all.I guess the only con is that it will make everything you used to do in your spare time a thing of the past.

This TV is so good i would recommend it to everyone who could afford to buy it for me. I think watching sports on this thing are really amazing and its like you have court side seats because TV is really really big.

Fujifilm Finepix S100FS

To all those photo bloggers out there this one is for you

It has 14x eye-popping super zoom lens. From a landscape-spanning 28mm wideangle setting to a paparazzi-impressing 400mm telephoto its just a simple twist of your wrist, Cool isn’t it?. Basically, it lets you frame roughly any scene entirely, without coming up for a whiny motorized lens to zoom in or having to swap for more powerful glassware. The only downfall is that this a non-digital slr, anyway let me tell what you get for 500$? Behind the crisp (and optically stablised) lens lives a respectable 11MP sensor that can pump out vivid images, red-eye removal technology and smartface detection, plus you can have colour tweaks.
It has 2.5-inch lcd screen which can be fold out for automatic preview, and also you can also shoot VGA movie clips. Other than this it’s much slower and heavier than today’s digital SLR’s.

Nokia N80 Internet Edition

There are a lot of n-series smartphone's available in the market today but...

Nokia’s N80 is by far the greatest n-series model, yet its feature list still runs longer than most 2007 releases. This review will be looking at the N80 Internet Edition, an enhanced version of the original N Series' N80. This “internet edition” enhancement is basically a software upgrade and basic setup for VOIP. What the, VOIP on a nokia gsm phone? Therefore you can make free calls in the U.S. and Canada. Nokia has loaded the phone up with some great features like support for quad band GSM, 3G WCDMA, and 802.11g WiFi. These are the main features that I would want in a next generation smart phone, so say goodbye to PDA’s. There are two cameras in the phone, a 3 megapixel camera for photos, video shoot and a secondary camera that can work with conferencing and video calls. The built in WiFi support is a huge plus for the N80, since many places are already covered in Wifi and you can you can jump from hotspot to hotspot in just about every major city. The connectivity is great, but what are some of the other features?

- Built in 3 megapixel camera
- Integrated media player, with support for MP3 and AAC audio
- Ability to play and record video clips
- High contrast, high resolution display with high-res mobile web browser
- Built in POP3/IMAP client for mobile email
- Slider form factor (though a bit thick due to the camera)
- Symbian Series 60 mobile OS
- SIP is seamlessly integrated with the phone’s address book, just click a contact, then select Internet Call
- Built in SIP (session initiation protocol) stack, no separate VoIP client to download

At first glance, the N80 is visually chunky. The thickness of the phone at the center remains identical when it's opened, but it does give the impression that the phone is much more slender. The slider form factor gives the phone a particularly thick and bulky look when closed; however once you extend the slider it feels much more attractive.
To me the N80 is a great example of what could have been. It has a remarkable set of multimedia features from WiFi to the 3MP camera. So if you’re someone that who’s inexperienced enough to believe “it’s what on the inside that counts” the N80 is just the right phone for you.

microsoft zune 80gb

the all new microsoft zune

In November of last year, Microsoft released the first-generation zune which is back for the revenge of the iPod. Typically with a new design, wireless connectivity, higher capacity , larger screen, the all new 80Gb Zune is to end with giving everyone a true substitute to the iPod. The Microsoft Zune of course is not without its fans, the device came to characterize the awkwardness at marketing itself as hip.

Measuring 4.3 inches high by 2.4 inches wide by 0.5 inch deep, that’s really slim figure just like compared to a super model. Its more like of a pocket-worthy form, and as ive observed the improvements to the Zune’s hardware design are its screen and navigation pad. .The 80GB Zune's lavishly large LCD screen leaves the 2.5-inch screen of the iPod Classic in the dust. Its new glass screen not only affords the device a stylish feel, but it also gives a more scratch-resistant surface with less optical distortion than the ubiquitous plastic variety.
Features:
- Wi-Fi music sharing
- high-quality photo viewer
- RBDS(Radio Broadcast Data System) -enabled FM radio
- subscription music support
- wide-screen video playback
- composite video output

The only drawback to zune is its built-in wifi –antenna, we’ll as a laptop owner it sucks a lot of juice and can destroy battery performance. Unfortunately, its battery life is only average compared to its competitor the iPod Classic.

macbook air vs. lenovo thinkpad x300

This is a faceoff between the two of the most sophisticated ulta portable laptops the macbook air vs lenovo thinkpad x300.

In terms of sexiness, this macbook air surely wins because of its very thin point which is about half an inch that would fit in an envelope. On the other hand, the lenovo thinkpad doesnt taper like the air. Its design might remind you of a thinkpad but it isnt that ugly infact this design is more impressive when it comes to what they pack inside. Most of us users rate this ulta portable laptop between its specifications which one is built for powerfull features, multitasking, image processing and dvd drain tests.

The lenovo x300 has a built-in dvd burner, 3 usb ports, a removable battery, keyboard light, gps, ethernet port for wired connectivity and webcamera. Both have wifi and bluetooth but one of the big things missing in the macbook air is it has no internal optical drive, no removable battery,no ethernet port, only has single usb port and the lcd screen is glossy which is a whole lot more reflective while the lenovo thinkpad has a matte finish. You can still purchase add-ons in the macbook air but who wants to drag them around right. The x300 is rocking a 1.2 ghz core 2 duo has 64gb of solid state drive and 2gigs ram also the macbook air uses 1.2 ghz core 2 duo processor 2 gigs ram but only a conventional 80 gig hard drive. Now who gives us the best bang for the buck, sure these guys are revolutionary laptops but we wanna know if they're worth the dough we're droppin for them ,the beat up thinkpad rates up to just $2936 and the base model macbook air is about $1800 the macbook air is about $1000 cheaper. These ultra portables dont come cheap but if you want to be ground breaking hey sometimes you have to pay bank breaking prices. But the finall choice between these to laptops comes down to you.

my dream pc

my teacher once told me that

desktop computers or even laptops get updated every 3 years. So when you buy a personal computer today by year 2011 it'll obsolete just like you were wearing clothes in the 70's the old-fashioned ones, because those future pc's will overcome the specs of what you have in your pc today. But for now its been an addiction to me watching over those

astonish
ing desktop pcs specifically the "alienware area 51". This wonderful and extravagant high-end pc from alienware.com which uses solid state hard drives for faster rebooting and also a whooping 1 terabyte of storage which means deleting is unnecessary therefore your favourite videos, music and lots of hardcore games will all be stored in one hard drive.

Check out its design ive never seen anything like it. It also comes up with a core 2 duo processor where multitasking is just a piece of cake. Furthermore, it has ded
icated graphics card so that games with high video requirements will be compatible. Burning dvd-roms are effortless because it has speeds up to 20x and this optical drive can read blu-ray disks too. You think thats enough? Discover its 7.1 surround sound high definition audio and theres more it has its own 'alienice' high performance cooling system. oh well, its easy to dream coz its free.
